CLACSO Working Group on Childhood and Youth

Around mid-2018, a group of researchers affiliated with the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), with extensive experience in youth studies, joined the study to analyze the Latin American focus groups that inform the research that follows. Their contribution was to foster a deeper understanding of young people's perceptions of the cities in which they live. In this sense, this book represents the convergence of efforts from multiple sectors to position young people as transformative actors in urban processes and in the treaties that emerge for their improvement, primarily the New Urban Agenda and the 2030 Agenda.
