The Forum: “Social Sciences, Critical Thinking, and the Disputes over Peace in Colombia,” organized by CLACSO and the National University of Colombia, will bring together various experts in Bogotá on the afternoon of Thursday, February 27. Prior to the forum, CLACSO Member Centers and Working Groups in Colombia will meet to discuss updating the Statutes.

8:15 to 8:30 am: Process of the Statute Update Commission. Carolina Jiménez (UNAL)

8:30 to 10:00 am: Proposals for Updating the Statute: Directors of Member Centers and Researchers of Working Groups.

Working groups: Purpose and functions. Members: nature, duties and rights. Governing bodies. Mechanisms for carrying out activities. Funding. Reform.

10:00 to 11:30 am: Socialization by discussion groups and proposals
