El “Heñói Center for Studies and Promotion of Democracy, Human Rights and Socio-Environmental Sustainability” of ParaguayIts aims are to develop research, training, awareness-raising, and support activities for the actions of social and political actors and movements in Paraguay that advocate for or promote human rights, expand citizen participation, strengthen public institutions and community organization, and promote socioeconomic and environmental sustainability, striving for a more participatory democracy, more connected to regional integration processes and geared towards a better quality of life for the country's population. Its actions are primarily directed towards the formation of a critical citizenry in the construction of an equitable and supportive society that respects human rights and nature.
