The Ñuble Studies Center was created in response to the needs of the new region regarding the Research and Development of territorial projects, based on the experience and concerns of a multidisciplinary team of academics and professionals, including specialists of excellence in Social Sciences and Economics from the University of Bío-Bío, Chillán campus.

Our purpose is to contribute to the sustainable economic, productive and social development of the Ñuble region, which is why we have taken its name, based on the academic production, formulation of intervention projects and scientific dissemination of relevance to the region and the contributions of the Center, from the strategic lines of study that we have proposed.

Thanks to the creative activity surrounding research and the implementation of projects, we have consolidated a continuous and bidirectional articulation with public, private and civil society agents from the 21 communes of Ñuble, from the region itself, and even at the national level.
