Center for Studies on Sexual and Reproductive Rights – Venezuela

We are a foundation made up of activists and professionals from diverse areas, who through actions of: Research, Training, Advocacy and Support, and together with the offer of services in Sexual and Reproductive Health, advocate for the right that all people have to a life free of violence and discrimination for reasons of gender, sex or sexual orientation, through the use of innovative methods that allow the co-responsible appropriation of sexual and reproductive rights with a transformative approach of gender, feminist and human rights, especially for populations in vulnerable situations.

Taking inspiration from Margaret Sanger's words, "a woman who has no control over her body cannot be a free woman," we decided to join our wills and our experience as professionals and human rights activists, assuming our co-responsibility in the most human of human rights: Sexual and reproductive rights.

Since then, we have worked every day to ensure that women, girls, boys, LGBTIQ+ people, and other vulnerable groups achieve full autonomy over their bodies and their sexuality through free, informed, and non-discriminatory decision-making.

Throughout this beautiful endeavor, we have come to understand that achieving a dignified life begins with recognizing our diversity in order to pave the way for true and substantive equality. Therefore, recognizing the vital importance of everyone's participation, we want you to get to know us and support us.
