Candidates for the Executive Directorate of CLACSO

The deadline for submitting nominations for the election of the Executive Directorate of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO)Three candidacies have been submitted in a timely manner, fulfilling all the requirements established in our institutional statutes.

In accordance with the established electoral process of our organization, the Steering Committee approved the following candidacies for the Executive Directorate of CLACSO for the period 2025-2028 (listed in alphabetical order):

            • Alhena Caicedo Fernández

            • Isabel Piper Shafir

            • Pablo Vommaro

All documentation and endorsements submitted by the candidates can be viewed on the website of #CLACSO2025This space also houses the current institutional documents for the next CLACSO Ordinary General Assembly, which will take place on June 7 and 8, 2025 in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.

As part of this process, two public debates will be organized, the first in March and the second in May. Furthermore, CLACSO.TV will conduct individual interviews with each candidate, as part of the institutional commitment to the dissemination of this electoral process.
