Brazil: The right of indigenous peoples to their lands

The Rio de Janeiro Supreme Court rejected the "time frame", which sought to limit indigenous territories and reaffirmed the constitutional right of Brazil's native peoples to make use of the lands they have occupied "historically, traditionally and permanently".
