International Colloquium of the Working Group on Violence and Forced Migration
On Monday, August 7, at CLACSO (Buenos Aires), researchers from the Working Group met with specialists in the field of migration studies in Latin America. They explored the various characteristics of the current problem of forced migration in relation to the different types of violence that accompany it, with particular emphasis on the contexts of refugee reception (Chile), the production of different types of forced displacement (Mexico), and the violence and securitization of the migration issue (Argentina).
