Library “Let it be painted like a village”
We present the "Let It Be Painted as a People's Library," a series of books co-published by CLACSO and IEC-CONADU that addresses various topics relevant to a project of democratizing the University in Latin America and the Caribbean. These books invite us to rethink and question the Latin American and Caribbean University, immersed within the current socio-historical context. The first three books in this series address fundamental issues for understanding the University as a space for constructing horizons of meaning, such as the increasingly complex and widespread forms of privatization of higher education that have been occurring in our region since the 1990s; university teacher training as a key element of public policies in higher education and of the academic policies of institutions; and the central problems of the internationalization of higher education from a Latin American and Caribbean history and perspective.
