CLACSO-UNQ scholarships for master's studies

Distance learning modality 2020 Training Cycle

With the aim of strengthening the training in social sciences and humanities of Latin American and Caribbean students who are part of the CLACSO Postgraduate Network, the National University of Quilmes and the Latin American Council of Social Sciences will award 18 scholarships complete to pursue postgraduate studies in one of the 9 master's degrees that make up this postgraduate training program:

• Master's Degree in Environment and Sustainable Development
• Master's Degree in Science, Technology and Society
• Master's degree in Social Sciences and Humanities
• Master's Degree in Digital Audiovisual Communication
• Master's Degree in Territorial and Urban Development
• Master's Degree in Tourism Development and Management
• Master's Degree in Philosophy
• Master's Degree in Local Government
• Master's degree in cultural industries, politics and management

The scholarships cover 100% of the tuition cost.

Application requirements

1. The participants will be selected by an evaluation committee appointed by the convening organizations.
2. Applications will be submitted through the CLACSO website.
3. The candidates must:
   1. Provide proof of undergraduate degree (Bachelor's or equivalent).
   2. Have a letter of support from the Director of the CLACSO Associated Center where they work.
   3. Complete the scholarship application, being able to choose only one of the available proposals.
4. The available scholarships (18) will be assigned to students in training, respecting regional diversity and gender equity.
5. An Academic Committee will review the applications and award the scholarships; the decision cannot be appealed. The results will be announced by CLACSO.
6. The scholarships will be distributed proportionally among the master's programs that are part of the agreement (2 for each one).
7. This call for applications will remain open. until December 20 of 2019.
