To pursue postdoctoral studies in the Social Sciences, Childhood and Youth Research Program
Open call for postgraduate students from centers associated with CLACSO

The Postdoctoral Research Program in Social Sciences, Childhood and Youth, organized by the Network of Postgraduate Programs in Childhood and Youth (RedINJU), comprised of the Center for Advanced Studies in Childhood and Youth of CINDE and the University of Manizales – Colombia; the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – Brazil; the College of the Northern Border – Mexico; the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences – FLACSO Argentina; the National University of Lanús – Argentina together with the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), will award 8 scholarships to conduct postdoctoral studies in the Program in Social Sciences, Childhood and Youth, with the purpose of encouraging research and critical reflection on childhood and youth.
To that end, the call will grant 8 scholarships:
- An 80% tuition scholarship will be awarded to the first two selected applicants.
- A 50% tuition scholarship for the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth selected applications.
- A 30% tuition scholarship for applications that result in seventh and eighth place.
The scholarships cover the corresponding percentage of tuition costs. Participation expenses for the Postdoctoral meetings must be covered by the applicants.
Doctors from any field of Social Sciences and Humanities interested in contributing to the understanding of the fields of childhood and youth as transdisciplinary objects of knowledge; from critical reflection, debate of the main scientific theories, approaches, policies and practices of the continent
The application must include,
- Investigation project.
- Duly completed registration form
- Scanned PhD degree
- Childhood and Youth: Violence, counter-hegemonies and re(ex)istences

Coordinated by: Alberto Hernández and Rodolfo Cruz, Colegio de la Frontera Norte de México - Mexico.
The academic evaluation of the presentations will be carried out by the Academic Committee of the Postdoctoral Research Program.
The proposals submitted will be reviewed for their academic and administrative aspects to ensure their compliance with the Call for Proposals guidelines. Proposals that do not meet the established requirements will not proceed to the content evaluation by the Committee.
