 Attacks on Argentine scientists

Last Friday, April 12, Argentine presenter Eduardo Feinmann of the A24 channel in Buenos Aires uttered offensive words on air against the doctor, teacher and researcher of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of the city of La Plata Facundo Saxe, for his work "Queer Memory and Anal Comics", whose stated purpose is "to trace and think about certain issues linked to sexual dissidence".

This new attack comes amid the deep crisis that the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research of Argentina, Conicet, has been going through for several years.

Facundo Saxe spoke with CLACSO Radio.

As a testament to his outstanding career, Saxe was one of the winners of the recent CLACSO Competition for the selection of postgraduate virtual seminars, with his project “Queer Theories and Sex-Dissident Thought”.
