The website “Los muros” published on April 15 a radio interview with Verónica Gago, PhD in Social Sciences, journalist and activist of the Argentine collective NiUnaMenos.

In the article's introduction, "The Walls" states: "Almost a month into quarantine, we must first emphasize that the economic crisis is already being felt very strongly. It's important to remember that Argentina has been experiencing two consecutive years of recession, meaning this crisis is part of that pre-existing context. We are also facing a very strong inflationary process that has intensified with the quarantine, particularly in food products, which further aggravates the situation. It's also worth mentioning that the current government, until a few weeks before imposing the mandatory quarantine, was engaged in discussions about how to reschedule the external debt payments. During the previous administration's four years, this debt was the largest in our country's history, resulting in a massive increase in poverty and a deterioration of all socioeconomic conditions in recent years..."
