Agroecology in Andean systems
This new volume in the Research Grants Collection brings together the results of projects carried out thanks to the support of the McKnight Foundation and CLACSO alliance in the “Research and Training Program on Andean Agroecological Systems.” Its chapters explore, through the study of small-scale agriculture in local communities in the highlands of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, how agroecology—as a science, practice, and movement—contributes to building a new food model, with the expectation of placing the topic on the region's political and academic agenda.
