El XIX Central American Congress of Sociology ACAS 2025The Congress, to be held from August 4 to 7 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, is a crucial forum for collectively discussing the major challenges facing Central America and the wider Latin America and Caribbean region. In a regional context marked by deepening social inequalities, the effects of climate change, and territorial disputes, this Congress presents a key opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences, and strategies from a critical perspective committed to social justice.
From CLACSO We are supporting this meeting within the framework of the project Platforms for Social DialogueReaffirming our commitment to the link between research, social movements, and public policy, we will be developing activities that will enrich academic debate and exchanges among researchers, institutions, and networks in the region.

CLACSO at the ACAS 2025 Congress
La International Postgraduate School on Inequalities, Climate Change and Territorial Disputes, a training space intensive, face-to-face and postgraduate level, with a comparative and regional perspective.
This training proposal is expected to contribute to strengthening the dialogue between representatives of academia, social movements and public policymakers regarding the complexity of the link between environment and society.
The School's activities are free of charge (transportation, accommodation, and food will not be covered).
To pass the International Graduate School on Inequalities, Climate Change, and Territorial Disputes, you must complete all three workshops in the academic program. Digital certificates of participation will be issued (CLACSO).
Workshop 1: Gender, feminisms and inequality in Central America
