This research seminar analyzes the role of women in Mexico City, focusing on work and the reappropriation of public space. Dr. Yutzil Cadena Pedraza, from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (FCPyS) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), examines gender tensions and disputes in the urban environment of the country's most populous city. Dr. Janeth Mendoza Guzmán, from the Center for Research and Development (CID), offers a critical perspective on "women and the city" through contemporary epistemological debates. Together, they provide an essential space for academic reflection to understand mobility, daily work, and methodologies for studying the female experience in large cities.
