Within the framework of the First Science and Humanities Fair of the Public Postgraduate Network of San Cristóbal de Las Casas , the Seedbed “Learning from the struggles and alter and anti movements” will be held , a collective space for reflection and exchange around the ways of knowing and producing knowledge from the social sciences, the experiences of struggle and the movements of resistance and re-existence.
The meeting will begin with the question: How are we carrying out our work as social science workers in these times of crisis, violence and wars, but also times of struggles of resistance and re-existence?
The Seedbed proposes to reflect on the onto-epistemic, political, methodological, and theoretical implications of ways of knowing and understanding the world from the perspective of social scientists, activists, and advocates for life. It also seeks to collectively recover the lessons learned and unlearned derived from alter and anti-struggles and movements, exchange experiences, and enrich thesis and life projects.
The dynamic will combine brief presentations by the sowers , group work coordinated by harvesters-animators and a plenary session to share the main reflections arising from the exchange.
