Launch of the book “Camponese rebellion: agrarian reform and agroecology”

March 30 4:00 PM 5:00 PM CMT

March 30 | Virtual mode
🕒 16:00 hs (Brazil and Argentina)

The book portrays the conquests obtained by the quilombola communities and rural settlements in the face of efforts to silence the Camponese rebellion in Brazil. As these agricultural and environmental questions persist and demand a constant organization in the fight for agrarian reform and agroecology to guarantee rights. Research led by social movements was a collective process that enabled an exchange of learning and training. The results map elements of the Brazilian reality in environmental, economic, social, cultural and political aspects. These examples continue to show and reveal the urgency of a popular agrarian reform for the construction of democracy
