Epistemology in liquid realities: knowing in times of uncertainty

The seminar analyzes the construction of knowledge in the social sciences and humanities from the perspective of Zygmunt Bauman's "liquid modernity." The activity examines how, today, truths have become fragile and traditional frames of reference have dissolved, giving way to a knowledge that prioritizes immediate utility over lasting solidity.
Through this approach, the program aims to explore the scope and challenges facing research and intellectual creation in an environment dominated by social media and artificial intelligence. The central objective is to understand how the production of meaning is reconfigured when knowledge must adapt to the speed and transience of the contemporary world.
