Introduction to R and RStudio: R fundamentals and descriptive data analysis

Registration is now open for the refresher course "Introduction to R and RStudio: Fundamentals of R and descriptive data analysis," a virtual training program with a 100% practical approach, designed for those who wish to incorporate open science tools and free software into their work and research.
This course is offered as part of the Diploma in Social Sciences of Information and Open Data Analysis (CI-DATA), organized by the Center for Knowledge Cycle Studies (CECIC) of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (FCPYS) at the National University of Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina). The key points of the program are detailed below:

Workload: 25 total hours (creditable for postgraduate degrees).
Format: 100% Virtual.
Schedule: From June 5 to July 3, 2026. Classes will be held on Fridays from 16:00 PM to 20:00 PM.
Approach: Practical and from scratch. No prior advanced programming knowledge is required.
