The doctoral program is grounded in a critical and interdisciplinary perspective that promotes the production of situated knowledge capable of understanding and transforming contemporary problems. Through an approach that integrates research, ethics, and social commitment, the program seeks to contribute to the analysis of inequalities, conflicts, and current challenges in the region.
The DES has several lines of research, including: subjectivities and differences; power and collective subjects; communication and cultures; memory and experience; artificial intelligence and digital societies; and social management of care.
Lasting four years, it is aimed at professionals with a background in research, preferably with master's degrees, interested in developing projects with social impact and strengthening their participation in national and international academic networks.
