Course: Past and present of political exiles in Mexico
August 20 - 10:00 am - 12:30 PM CMT

From August 10 to September 3
Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Virtual mode
This course aims to create a space for reflection and analysis on the policies Mexican governments have pursued regarding political exiles from the post-revolutionary period to the present, as well as the strategies of control, exclusion, and management they have applied to this type of migration in different contexts. We propose to examine the apparent contradictions of Mexican policy and the construction of a narrative of the country as a refuge. The course is open to the public.
