La VI Latin American and Caribbean Biennial on Early Childhood, Childhood and Youth opens the call for submissions Work tables, inviting researchers, social organizations, academic networks, institutions and other actors linked to the fields of childhood, youth and young people to participate in the collective construction of this regional meeting space.
The Biennial will take place from 31 from May to 4 from June of 2027 en Manizales, Colombia, and constitutes an area for the exchange of experiences, production of knowledge, dialogue of knowledge and articulation between actors committed to guaranteeing the rights of early childhood, children and youth in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The call seeks to form working groups that promote debates from diverse disciplinary, territorial and epistemological perspectives, strengthening the construction of situated knowledge and the exchange between universities, social organizations, public institutions, collectives and research networks in the region.
📅 Opening of the call for applications: July 27 2026.
📅 Deadline for submitting proposals for roundtables: 11 September 2026.
The proposals will be evaluated between September 14 and October 2, 2026.
The 6th Biennial is organized within the framework of the Latin American and Caribbean Network on Early Childhood, Childhood and Youth, with the co-leadership of CLACSO, CINDE and University of Manizales, institutions that promote this space for academic, political and social articulation to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the region.
