La Autonomous Metropolitan University, through the headquarters UAM Xochimilco, Together with CLACSO and various international academic institutions, invite researchers, teachers and postgraduate students to participate in this International Seminar which will take place on the days 8 and 9 of June of 2026.
Within the framework of the bicentennial of Amphictyonic Congress of PanamaThe meeting proposes a space for critical reflection on the current challenges of Latin American integration in a context of global geopolitical transformations.
Themes
The seminar will cover, among other things, the following topics:
- La Monroe Doctrine and its relevance in the contemporary scenario
- Multilateralism and regionalism in Latin America
- Reconfiguration of the international order after the Cold War
- Current debates on regional integration
- Strategies for the international integration of Latin America
