The CLACSO Working Group on Imperialism, Neocolonialism, and Intervention Policies launches the first edition of the bulletin *The Monitor of Imperial Policy*. On the centenary of Fidel Castro's birth, this issue is entirely dedicated to the anticolonial thought and praxis of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution. We will speak with the editors and authors of the bulletin about Castro's legacy, examining the different facets of his thought in relation to the current situation in Cuba, Latin America, and the rest of the world's peripheries.
