The Conversation and presentation with the coordinators of the latest issues of the (Trans)border Bulletins.

The event focuses on disseminating and discussing the four most recent issues of the bulletin, which critically and urgently address current migration dynamics in the region. Each issue's presentation will provide a space for dialogue between authors, researchers, and the public to reflect on the methodological, political, and human challenges of human mobility.

Thematic areas to be addressed:

Bulletin #28: Structural and microsocial impacts of mobility in Latin America. An analysis of how migration transforms both large global structures and everyday and family life.

Bulletin #29: Migrant children and youth: vulnerability, exclusion, and agency. A focused look at the realities of children and youth on the move, their risks, and their capacity for resistance and action.

Bulletin #30: Criminalization of Migration in the Americas: (Anti)migrant Policies and Narratives. A critical examination of punitive laws and hate speech that stigmatize migrants across the continent.

Bulletin #31: Migrations in motion: new realities and challenges in field research. A methodological reflection on the complexities, ethics, and challenges faced by researchers when studying migration in the field today.
