Keynote address: “In the first person: circular perspectives and interpretation of the Cuban being in difficult times”


The Ibero-American University and CLACSO invite you to the keynote lecture by Cuban researcher and essayist Omar González Jiménez, who will address reflections on the interpretation of the Cuban being in contexts of crisis and social transformation.

Within the framework of the activities organized by the Department of Art and the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the Ibero-American University, together with the Diplomatic Historical Archive of the SRE and CLACSO, the keynote conference “In the first person: circular views and interpretation of the Cuban being in difficult times” will be held, led by Omar González Jiménez.

The activity proposes a reflection on the contemporary Cuban experience, the cultural and social interpretations of the present, and the multiple perspectives on identity and memory in complex times.
