The How can we strengthen participation from communities and local governments? It is proposed as a space to debate and exchange experiences on the challenges of community and institutionalized participation in the region.

PhD in Latin American Social Studies (National University of Córdoba), Master's in Human Development (FLACSO), and Bachelor's in Social Sciences (University of the Republic). Professor and researcher at the University of the Republic, member of the Group for the Study of Participation and Decentralization (GEPADE) and of the coordinating team of the CLACSO Working Group on Participatory Processes and Methodologies.
Corina Echavarría (Argentina)
Political scientist, Master in Public Administration and PhD in Administration. Professor and researcher at the National University of Córdoba, specializing in deliberative democracy, citizen participation, public policy, environment and gender.
Victor Fernandez Gonzalez (Chile)
Sociologist, PhD in American Studies and Master in Participatory Action Research. Academic and researcher at the Catholic University of Maule, specializing in participatory processes and participation methodologies.
Mercedes Oraison (Argentina)
Professor and researcher at the National University of the Northeast and member of the CLACSO Working Group on Participatory Processes and Methodologies. Her work focuses on citizenship, participation, and participatory methodologies.
