El CLACSO Working Group on Social Security and Pension SystemsThe group, which brings together about 40 social science researchers, aims to promote knowledge and critical debate on welfare issues.

The aim is to delve deeper into the analysis of changes observed in work processes, the socio-economic structure, labor markets, and demographics. It seeks to evaluate their impact on the institutional trajectories and designs of Social Security.
It also seeks to advance a comprehensive understanding of public policy formulation processes related to pension systems, family allowance systems, healthcare systems, and other areas. Fostering dialogue and collaboration with state institutions, social organizations, and the labor sector will be a priority.
