Conversation with Rita Segato in Boston

During the 37th Congress of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA), Argentine anthropologist and feminist Rita Segato and CLACSO Executive Secretary Karina Batthyány spoke from Boston for CLACSO TV. The interview was broadcast live on Facebook.

Karina Batthyány emphasized the importance of Rita Segato's presence and participation in various CLACSO activities. She cited Segato's significant role in the new specialization being launched by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences, in the form of a virtual seminar: “Race, Gender, and Rights from the Perspective of Coloniality,” which will begin on August 22.

Before that, on June 5, Rita Segato will give a Master Lecture on “Patriarchy and violence today”, in the Julieta Kirkwood Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Chile.
