The present document aims to characterize early childhood, childhood and youth in Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil and Mexico, in terms of hegemonies, violence and political and cultural practices of resistance and re-existence.

To this end, different indicators will be discussed that allow us to understand some characteristics of the situation of these age groups in each country without intending to make a comparison between countries, but showing an overview of what happens at a contextual level with children and young people.
