The mediations of super-exploitation
This book, co-published with Gedisa Mexico, arises from a conference in which four methodologies and theoretical perspectives were articulated for the first time: Marini's Dialectic of Dependency, Marx's Grundrisse, István Mészáros's theory of mediations, and Rolando García's complex systems.
The general theory of the super-exploitation of labor power as the axis of the capital cycle of the dependent economy is addressed, as well as Marx's theses regarding the decreasing importance of both immediate labor time in constituting the source of social wealth and exchange value as the measure of use value, the theory of mediations and, within these, the second-order mediations of the social metabolism of capital, and the theory of complex systems to situate, within them, the Marxist theory of dependency and, in particular, the super-exploitation of labor.
