How to analyze the electoral performance of the far right in France?

On Wednesday, July 10, InfoCLACSO will be live on the YouTube channel and the Facebook and LinkedIn profiles.

After the advance of the far right in the European Parliament elections on June 9, it was time for the legislative elections in France. Having triumphed in the first round on June 30 with 33% of the vote, Marine Le Pen's National Rally felt confident of victory and had even designated a young leader, Jordan Bardella, to be prime minister. The results did not go their way, and while no party obtained an absolute majority, the New Popular Front, made up of three left-wing parties plus the Green Party, prevailed, relegating the local far right to third place.
