Resuming the debates of 2018 in Córdoba on the occasion of the Centenary of the Reform of '18, on July 12 the “Latin American Meeting against Neoliberalism, for a Democratic and Popular University” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UBA

The participants agreed on the need to continue collectively analyzing the current situation of higher education and the science and technology system, to discuss strategies and to strengthen an articulation of forces to reaffirm their commitment to the public university and the citizenry.

Interviewed for CLACSO TV, they answered questions from Gustavo Lema: Juan Pablo Abratte from the National University of Córdoba; Alejandro Villar from the National University of Quilmes; Diego Hurtado from the National University of San Martín; Sandra Carli, Fernanda Saforcada and Esther Levy from the National University of Buenos Aires; as well as Hugo Yasky, General Secretary of the Central Workers' Union of Argentina (CTA).
