#4 World Cup Notebooks “France 2019”

The 8th FIFA Women's World Cup 2019, hosted by France, ended on July 7th, and with this installment
Cuadernos del Mundial also concludes, with daily submissions from researchers from different countries and orientations.
Academics offered their interpretations of this globally significant sporting event. Participants included academics
and academics from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Mexico, and Uruguay.
In this way, we can say that, this time, the Notebooks involved America, Asia, Europe and Oceania,
Therefore, the inclusion of academics from African countries arises as a challenge in order to have a global voice in the studies
social aspects of sport in relation to major sporting events.
