May 1st – Decent work for a fairer society

On Labor Day, commemorating the Chicago Martyrs of 1886, the Latin American Council of Social Sciences reaffirms its struggle in favor of decent work, for more rights and guarantees, with equal opportunities and wages for men and women, and for respect for the freedom of workers to organize.

With the conviction that education and training are the foundation for full labor development and the construction of a more just society.
