1st meeting of the Environment, Climate Change and Good Living scholarship in Latin America and the Caribbean: conflicts, struggles and policies

Within the framework of the research grant "Environment, Climate Change and Good Living in Latin America and the Caribbean: conflicts, struggles and policies?" and the meetings and teleworking spaces promoted by the CLACSO Research Directorate, the first virtual meeting of grant recipients and tutors of this call was held on Wednesday, October 19.

At the meeting, the scholarship recipients presented their revised research proposals. Their mentors, in turn, offered feedback and recommendations to further the process. The exchange lasted over two and a half hours and showcased the diversity and importance of the various projects related to the environment, climate change, and how individuals and societies develop within these contexts.

The meeting was attended by Pablo Vommaro, Director of Research at CLACSO, and Ulises Rubinschik, a member of the CLACSO Research Directorate, as well as the 15 scholarship recipients and 3 tutors, from 7 countries in the region.
