100 training scholarships for women and gender dissidents

The Executive Secretariat of CLACSO, through its Postgraduate Network, is redoubling its commitment to the critical approach to inequalities and the fight against the invisibility of women and dissidents in the production of critical and emancipatory knowledge.
We assert the right to education as a tool with transformative potential, geared towards anti-racist, anti-sexist, and anti-homophobic training, appealing to the diversity that constitutes us with respect to race, gender, class, sexual orientation, and feminist theories situated in our land.
In that direction, the CLACSO Postgraduate Network will award 100 full scholarships to women and dissidents from Latin America and the Caribbean who participate in associated centers, social organizations, unions, parties or movements fighting for gender equality, human rights, feminism and social justice in our region.
Seminars for application:
• Gender and inequalities
• Public policies and gender justice
• Feminist movements and states in Latin America and the Caribbean • Economic impact of violence against women
• Historical background of public policy on violence against women
• The challenges of legislating on gender-based violence against women
• Writings on the body: situated feminist aesthetics and decoloniality of power
• The social organization of care
• Migration, gender and care
• Care systems and policies in Latin America
With this policy, the Executive Secretariat continues to expand its commitment to training linked to the development of critical thinking, education as a right and public good, and the conviction that only by guaranteeing gender equality can we transform our societies.
