Pronunciamiento por la liberación inmediata de la integrante de nuestro GT-CLACSO, Violeta Núñez, secuestrada por el estado de Israel
El Grupo de Trabajo Estudios Críticos del Desarrollo Rural perteneciente al Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales, Artes y Humanidades repudia la violencia cometida, una vez más, por el Estado de Israel hacia las flotillas humanitarias que intentan llegar a Gaza con ayuda humanitaria. La defensa a los derechos humanos, la ayuda humanitaria y el pueblo palestino están siendo masacrados no sólo por el Estado de Israel, sino por cada país que no se pronuncia y actúa para que esta – y otras guerras capitalistas y genocidas – acaben. Denunciamos el secuestro de nuestra compañera Violeta Nuñez – profesora y periodista – junto con otras compañeras mexicanas Sol González Eguia y Paulina del Castillo Poblano, todas integrantes de la Global Sumud Flotilla. Con esto una vez más tratan de arrebatarnos la esperanza de privilegiar la vida contra el genocidio en curso.
Desde que Israel impuso el bloqueo naval sobre Gaza en 2007, las fuerzas israelíes han interceptado y detenido en diversas ocasiones la ayuda humanitaria dirigida al pueblo palestino. En esta ocasión, secuestró 16 embarcaciones de las 54 que partieron el 15 de abril de Barcelona. Solicitamos al canciller, al Gobierno Federal mexicano y a las máximas autoridades de los distintos países que intervengan en favor de las y los defensores de los derechos humanos y del pueblo palestino. Exigimos la libertad de todas las personas que partieron con el objetivo de brindar apoyo y solidaridad a tantas víctimas de la violencia genocida y crueldad del Estado de Israel y sus cómplices.
Statement calling for the immediate release of Violeta Núñez, member of our CLACSO working group, who has been kidnapped by the state of Israel
The Working Group Critical Studies of Rural Development, part of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities (CLACSO), condemns the violence perpetrated, once again, by the State of Israel against the flotillas attempting to reach Gaza with humanitarian aid. The defence of human rights, humanitarian aid and the Palestinian people are being massacred not only by the State of Israel, but by every country that fails to speak out and take action to bring an end to this – and other capitalist and genocidal- wars. We denounce the kidnapping of our comrade Violeta Nuñez – professor and journalist – along with other Mexican fellows Sol González Eguia and Paulina del Castillo Poblano, all members of the Global Sumud Flotilla. With this, they are once again try to steal our hope of prioritising life over the ongoing genocide.
Since Israel imposed a naval blockade on Gaza in 2007, its forces have intercepted and detained humanitarian aid intended for the Palestinian people. On this occasion, they seized 16 of the 54 vessels that set sail from Barcelona on 15 April. We call on the Foreign Secretary, the Mexican Federal Government and the highest authorities of other countries to intervene on behalf of human rights defenders and the Palestinian people.
We demand the release of all those who set sail with the aim of offering support and solidarity to the many victims of the genocidal violence and cruelty perpetrated by the State of Israel and its allies.
