Fortunato Mallimaci He holds a PhD in Sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. He is a principal researcher at CONICET in the Center for Labor Studies and Research (CEIL) and a tenured professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). In 2023, he was named Professor Emeritus of the UBA. Among his most influential works is *The Myth of Secular Argentina: Catholicism, Politics, and the State* (2015).
Verónica Giménez Béliveau She is a sociologist, a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires. She holds a PhD in sociology (EHESS-UBA) and is a principal researcher at CONICET. She specializes in the study of Catholic sociability and forms of national, ethnic, and religious identification in the Triple Frontier region between Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.
