El Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) and the Río Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico They are calling for advanced students from master's and doctoral programs at the CLACSO Network of Postgraduate Programs in Social Sciencesto submit their applications to participate in the Fifth International Intensive Seminar "Cultural Studies and Public Policies" which will be carried out Network of Cultural Studies and Policies (CLACSO) in the City of San Juan, Puerto Rico, from June 9 to 13, 2014.

The seminar aims to foster theoretical, methodological, and political connections and contrasts between diverse Latin American traditions and current debates in different regions of the world. Students will also participate in a thesis workshop where they can present their ongoing research projects.
