The seminar is structured as a short training cycle comprised of four sessions, designed to comprehensively explore the relationship between culture and power. The activity aims to offer a panoramic view of how these two spheres are articulated, ranging from the classic analysis of popular and mass cultures to the current challenges posed by social media and artificial intelligence. Throughout the program, various currents of contemporary thought are examined, such as: • Cultural and Critical Studies: A review of approaches to ideology and hegemony. • Subaltern Studies: An analysis of power dynamics from the periphery. • Critical Theory: An evaluation of social and cultural structures. The main objective is to provide participants with a conceptual toolkit—including notions of hybridization and cultural reconfiguration—that will allow them to map and understand the dilemmas and transformations of culture in the present.
